What To Do With Those High School Memories?

We collect so many things from high school...yearbooks, prom pictures, in the GenX space handwritten notes from friends, and of course the ever present status of High School that holds tradition and honor.....the Letter Jacket! Most other things will end up in a box or an album, on a shelf at an office or display at a memorial. But what about that jacket? It end up in the closet or a trunk....the faux leather sleeves get sticky....you can't part with it but you don't know what to do with it.

A friend recently asked if there was something that I could do with her and her husband's Letter Jacket. She wanted those memories ever present but keeping a full jacket didn't make sense. I was able to turn her two Letter Jackets into beautiful pillows. These do not have to be displayed on a couch....They can be on a shelf or used in many different ways.

I think we often forget that we can change the form of an object but that does not change or diminish a memory! We all know that 20, 30, 40 years after high school we will not be wearing those jackets again. I can help! On my site - www.stitchedkeepsakes.com you can look under Memory Pillows. It will connect you to an order form to get started!

I love thinking outside the box for new ways to make keepsakes. And even more so, I love the joy it brings to others as they see their treasures in a new light!

As always, lets keep the memories without keeping the clutter!

Best, Jennifer
